Woman Charged With Endangering Children
A Cameron County resident has been charged in Clearfield County after being found unconscious with two children in her care.
Nicole Marie Whitmore, age 30, of Emporium, has been charged with two misdemeanors each of charges of endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person following an incident that occurred last week in Clearfield County.
Whitmore was arrested after she was discovered sitting atop a table, disoriented and confused, while a five-year-old child attempted to slap her awake. A child under the age of one was in a stroller nearby, and presumed to be under Whitmore’s care.
