The Emporium Alle-Catt baseball team traveled to Eldred on Sunday but were beaten by the home team 9-5. Eldred picked up five unearned runs in the first inning and then coasted to the victory.

Jame Thomas was the winning pitcher, working all nine innings and allowed five runs on nine hits while striking out eleven and walking three. He also hit a batter. Tucker Britton suffered the loss, lasting just one batter into the second inning. Britton gave up six runs on three hits with four walks and two strikeouts.
