Board Approves School Resource Officer Position
In order to fill a vacant position, the Cameron County School District’s (CCSD) Board of Directors reworked a scheduled committee meeting into a special voting meeting.
Jan Hampton was appointed by a majority vote of four to three to fill the position left open by the resignation of Richard Harrier at the March regular meeting. Adina Caskey was the only other applicant. Member Annetta Horning was absent from the meeting.
