Board Member Concerned Over Cell Phone Policy In Light Of Recent Events

At last Wednesday’s workshop meeting of the Cameron County School District’s Board of Directors, member Sandy Shields reiterated concerns that the Cell Phone Policy should be reviewed in light of recent incidents.
Superintendent Christine Holjencin stated at a previous board meeting that “it is a good policy,” but the disciplinary code associated with it would be reviewed.
