Boro Council Enforcing Ordinances On Sixth Street Property Owner
The Emporium Borough is working with a property owner to resolve issues at an apartment house on Sixth Street.
The property owner, Fred Burkhouse, attended Monday night’s meeting to assure council members that he was working to comply with ordinances being enforced in the borough.
“We’re moving on ordinance enforcement, and Fred was very receptive to that,” stated Borough Manager Don Reed. “A lot more needs to be done but we’re trying to hit these five things because they’re health and safety.”
