Boro House Fire Quickly Extinguished
Fears that a child might be trapped in a home on fire in Emporium last Monday prompted a quick response by the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department and other emergency providers.
All turned out well when the youngster was located riding his bike in the downtown area.

I want to send a huge Thank you to all involved… The Emporium and Austin Fire Depts. Emporium Chief of Police. the Pennsylvania State Troopers. Friends,Family and Neighbors for the fast response to the house,all that helped to find my 10 yr old son. You all are a great bunch of people to come together in my scariest time of need..Once again Thank you so much!!
