CCOYA Discusses Gun Safety
Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities was the presenter for last week’s Family Center After School Club. This is a wonderful program that the Family Center invites new presenters each week and introduces young students to a wide variety of educational programs.
The Fall program consists of 2nd grade students on Tuesdays and 3rd grade students on Thursdays. Bickford opened up his program with a discussion on gun safety. Students watched a video developed by the National Rifle Association’s Eddie the Eagle program.
