Change In Jury Selection Process
The small jury pool in Cameron County will likely grow thanks to a change in the jury selection process following a move to abolish the position of Jury Commissioner several months ago.
Commissioners have been working with Judge Richard Masson to come up with a suitable system to replace the Jury Commissioners, who had been tasked with finding residents to include in the jury selection process.
