Commissioners Approve Partial Funding Of Rails To Trails Extension
Cameron County Commissioners announced several efforts to assist with development of recreational areas within the county during their meeting held on Wednesday.
Allocation of Act 13 funding to the West Creek Recreational Trail Association was approved, and $15,000 will be designated for partial funding of Phase III development of the Rails to Trails section running from Howard Siding, in Cameron County, to Rathbun, in Elk County. The funding was necessary to secure engineering and environmental clearances associated with the project.
