Commissioners Receive Three Garage Construction Bids
The Cameron County Commissioners received three bids for the construction of a new garage on the courthouse property during their regular meeting held Wednesday in Emporium.
The bids are for construction of the 24-foot by 30-foot garage. The existing garage was built at the same time as the old jail building that was demolished years ago due to age and disrepair. The structure is failing, with a back retaining wall caving in due to the weight of the bank and the roof is now collapsing.
