Community Education Center Receives Grant
The Community Education Center of Elk and Cameron Counties received a grant from the A.J. & Sigismunda Palumbo Charitable Trust to support their DISCOVER Partnership program.
The objectives of the Partnership are: 1) market local high priority occupations to students, 2) provide career exploration and career and college advisement to students and families, and 3) coordinate work-based learning opportunities such as job shadowing, project based learning, company tours, summer camps, mock interviewing programs, parent engagement, educator in the workplace, and internships.
