County Commissioners Award Dam Siren Bid

Cameron County Commissioners awarded a bid for the George B. Stevenson Dam Project to install emergency warning sirens in areas of concern if the dam were to break.
Two bids were received, but only one met bid specifications released to interested contractors. The bid was awarded to Federal Signal Corporation of University Park, Illinois, at a price of $189,581.81.
