December Job Numbers Show Improvement

 

 

Employment numbers have been released for December 2013, showing that Cameron County’s job picture is continuing to improve.

For several years, the unemployment rate in Cameron County has remained above 10%, the highest in the state, but December saw the rate drop to 8.8%. Cameron County still has the highest unemployment rate in Pennsylvania, tied with Huntingdon County in south central Pennsylvania.
