Elk State Park Announces Closure of Instanter Boat Launch
Due to low water levels, the Instanter boat launch at Elk State Park is unusable for boats that must be launched and recovered using a trailer, as of Monday, July 29. Boats that can be launched by hand will still have access to the water. The lake is below full summer pool, currently at 1643.3’ and the pool level is falling at the average rate expected at this time of the year.
