Equine Trail Improvements
It has been a difficult season to create and improve trails due to the wet summer months but the staff on the Elk State Forest made significant improvements. Since restricting cross-country equine riding to designated trail riding this year, the Thunder Mountain Equine Trail length has more than doubled.
