Federal Shutdown Hasn’t Hit Locally, Yet

The federal government has been shutdown for a week as of the Echo’s deadline on Monday evening, and there is no end in sight according to reports out of Washington, D.C.
Congress seems to be divided mostly along party lines as to how to proceed.
