Former Resident Charged With Child Pornography
A former Cameron County resident is being charged with 28 counts stemming from an investigation by the State Attorney General’s Office.
Ronald Gregory Dill, age 58, of 207 North St. Marys Street, Apartment 1 in St. Marys, has been charged with seven felony counts of Disseminating Photos or Film Depicting Child Sex Acts, 20 felony counts of Child Pornography and one felony count of Criminal Use of a Communications Facility stemming from an investigation in November of 2013.
The charge of Criminal Use of a Communications Facility is becoming a more popular charge as of late as it stems from more and more people using chat messengers, the majority of chat apps state in their terms of use that no pornographic content is to be shared in chat and this even includes links to adult porn websites, for example if a user sent this link https://www.tubevideoshd.xxx/ to another user they would be in breach of the terms and use and would face either a temporary or permanent ban from using that chat facility, so to use a chat messenger to distribute child pornography is in complete breach of the terms of use and details of users will be passed to local and/or Federal authorities.
