From the Bleachers

Some observations from Friday night’s Red Raider football game with Curwensville.

There is no sugar coating the fact that the Raider defense has been mostly unable to stop anyone, allowing close to 47 points per game, but the effort has been there and they have mostly been outsized, especially at linebacker. But the offense showed they can move the ball like I expected after the scrimmages they had and to be honest, the difficult part of the schedule has now been completed. Not that Port, Coudy, Smethport, Otto and Sheffield will be easy games, but none of those teams are close to being as good as Kane, Brockway or Curwensville.
