From the Bleachers

College football was fun to watch with a couple of undefeated pretenders, West Virginia and Baylor getting their comeuppance this season. And Penn State finally put a hurting on a team they should dominate. To me it is just as important to thump bad teams as it is to defeat the really good teams like the Lions did to Ohio State last week.

Unfortunately, Slippery Rock dropped their fourth straight game, this time to Clarion 27-23. Interestingly, Kevin Genevro, former ECC star basketball player and son of Red Raider basketball star Kevin from the class of 1976, caught eleven passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns in the Golden Eagle victory. In his senior season Genevro now has forty-seven catches for 783 yards and nine touchdowns.
