It is really tiring as a fan of sports to see stories all over the place of professional athletes involved in situations like the murder investigation surrounding New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez. It is eerily similar to that of recently retired Baltimore Raven linebacker Ray Lewis back in 2000. If these were the only two violent incidences of NFL players that have happened in recent times, one could almost write them off as being average when compared to society in general.
