From the Bleachers

Had a good time Friday night as the prospective 2015 Red Raider football team played a spring flag football game at the high school field. The split squads were coached by this year’s graduating seniors in a seven-on-seven game that was a lot of fun for the kids and also showcased some skill position talent. Especially interesting was the way senior Nate Sestina and sophomore Derek Reider threw the ball around the field. Sestina has not played football since junior high and Reider played as a lineman primarily on the JV squad last season, but both showed the ability to throw deep balls as well as drill the short passes.
