The Raiders, in the words of their coaching staff, got a huge monkey off their back with their first win of the season last Friday night. I spoke with Head Coach Mike Kunes and assistants Jody Bailey and Nick Keller after the game and I was pleasantly surprised at why they were so happy. Coach Kunes said that the kids had worked so hard and had progressed so far but they needed to see some results from the huge efforts they had put in. There are four games left and since the Red Raiders are relatively healthy, they have a good opportunity to turn the season around.
