Garden Club Excited For ‘16 Program Year
The Emporium Garden Club members are excited to begin the 2016 program year with a kick-off dinner on March 21st.
Don Bickford, Director of Cameron County Outdoor Youth Association, and Julie Walters, Elementary Teacher with Cameron County School District, will present a program on Monarch butterflies in keeping with the National Garden Club theme of Pollinators.
Mrs. Walters has raised Monarchs from the chrysalis stage to butterfly in her classroom the past few years. She will bring her experiences to share at this meeting.
