Hometown Mentors Names Melzer Chairman
Hometown Mentors, Inc. is honored and pleased to announce the 2013 – 2014 President and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Hometown Mentors, Incorporated, Dr. Sharon Melzer.
Sharon is an assistant professor of criminal justice at the State University of New York (SUNY) – Plattsburgh. Her parents are Bob and Mary Melzer (CCHS Class of 1962). Her grandparents, all deceased, are Herm and Pauline Melzer, and Gene and Eva Armstrong. Sharon was raised in Southern New Jersey, but spent almost every Christmas and summer of her childhood in Emporium.
