Jan Hampton Appointed To Vacated School Board Seat

Members of the Cameron County School District’s Board of Directors voted last night to appoint a new board member and Vice President to fill the positions left with the resignation of Amber Beldin last month.
Jan Hampton, a former board member and the current Director of the Cameron County Conservation District, will fill the vacant seat until the first week of December, and Kristine Umble was appointed as the new Vice President for the same period.
