Local Blood Drive Reaches 40 Pint Goal
The American Red Cross Blood Drive was held at the Emporium VFW Club Rooms on Thursday, October 15th, with 42 productive donations. Thirty-seven donors were presented but there was one deferral. The goal for the day was 40 pints, so the drive went very well.
Pins were awarded to the following donors: Kirk Bainey, 13 gallons; and Patrick Rodgers – three gallons. Congratulatiions to these donors.
The Blood Drive Committee would like to thank all the succesful donors as well as those who attempted to donate.
