Local Veterans Honored On Memorial Day, Blue Star Memorial Dedicated
Cameron County’s Veterans were honored on Monday as part of Memorial Day celebrations.
A parade stepped off at 10 a.m. on Monday morning from the former Fourth Street School, including a number of veterans. Some marched as part of the Memorial Detail or wearing their uniforms proudly, while others rode atop a float provided by the Cameron County Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Club and American Legion Post #192.
