Lovett Offers Resignation As Boro Police Chief

Emporium Borough Council went into an early executive session Monday night after learning that Borough Police Chief John Lovett had filed a letter of resignation.
Lovett, on the job here less that three years, advised council and Mayor Bruno Carnovale that his last day of service to the community would be Friday, August 16.
