MedReturn Box Installed In Emporium Borough Building
The Emporium Borough Building is now home to the area’s only MedReturn Box as part of Governor Tom Corbett’s Healthy Pennsylvania initiative.
Twenty-nine Pennsylvania counties will have boxes located within their borders to help collect unused and unwanted prescription medications and other drugs, helping keep them out of the hands of children, off the black market, and from entering rivers, lakes and water supplies, according to a press release issued by Corbett’s office.
