Memorial Day Parade
Again this year the Cameron County Memorial Detail will be leading a parade on May 25th. The Detail has put out notices to many organizations to be in the parade and welcomes anyone who did not get a notice to come and join the parade, which will be gathering at Cameron County Vet’s and Olivett’s parking lots at 9:15 a.m.
As in the past the Detail will lead off from there at 9:45 a.m. to 4th and Walnut Street. At 10:00 sharp, all units will parade through town to the West End bridge and Veterans Park, where there will be an invocation by the Rev. Joseph Short.
