Mile-A-Minute Weed Threatens Watershed

 

 

Members of the Bucktail Watershed Association recently discovered a heavy infestation of mile-a-minute vine on the Driftwood Branch of Sinnemahoning Creek.

“Kirk Bainey and I were floating the creek to locate patches of Japanese knotweed when we came upon this large patch of mile-a-minute vine,” said Steve VanEerden.
