Mr. Turtle Finds New Home at Woodland School Library

 

 

When Rowan Crisp, a senior at CCHS, asked Don Bickford, Director of Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities (CCOYA), if he had any ideas for a senior project, the wheels started turning.

As you enter the library at Woodland Elementary there was a 55-gallon aquarium that sat empty. The aquarium had been donated several years ago to PTO from the Emporium Foundation and up until a few years ago held fish. However, it became too costly to maintain.
