National Fuel Decreases Gas Supply Charges

National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation (“National Fuel” or “the Utility”) has submitted to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (“PUC”) a quarterly adjustment to gas supply charges, which became effective Feb. 1, 2015, for its Pennsylvania customers. This 12.23 percent decrease will lower the monthly bill of a typical residential customer using 90,000 cubic feet of gas annually by $8.56, from $69.98 to $61.42.

National Fuel’s price-to-compare gas commodity charge also will decrease to $.36105 ccf. This reference point, important for customers who are shopping for an alternate gas supplier, is detailed on the National Fuel bill under Gas Supply Charges
