New ATV Club Rolls Forward

The newly organized  Cameron County ATV/UTV Association, Inc. (CCAUA, Inc.) will be holding its monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 31 at 6 p.m. at the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department.

Henry Sorgen IV, president of the Central Mountains All-Terrain Vehicle Association, will be the guest speaker.  Central Mountains All-Terrain Vehicle Association, located in Lock Haven, is one of the largest organizations in Pennsylvania and is at the forefront of a 1,200 mile ATV trail that would link several counties together throughout Pennsylvania.  Sorgen will show the proposed 1,200 mile trail and how Cameron County ATV/UTV Association members will play a major role in making this come to fruition.

Does this mean that Cameron County will open trails for ATV?

I am pleased to see that someone is addressing this issue .I understand the opposition to A.T.Vs. they certainly have a bad reputation because of the inconsiderate outlaws of the past. society must move forward. They can be a good thing if well regulated. The opposition must understand that all past efforts to control atv use has failed. ATV users must clean up their act- if not..ATVs will never be acceptable! All land owners must be Respected.as far as the issue of ATVs on public roads, it can be done safely, just for the record our public roads are NOT safe now without ATVs using them. With some up to date rules and regulations that apply to everyone concerned we can all benefit..even government!! THIS ATV ISSUE WILL NOT JUST GO AWAY.IT MUST BE DEALT WITH…….
