Perfect Day For Annual Fishing Derby
The weather was perfect for this year’s Drum and Henry Kids Fishing Derby. The event celebrated its 61st year of providing the area youth a fun-filled day of fishing and refreshments.
There were over 175 registered youth that participated in this year’s derby.
Although it was a slow day for catching fish the Bucktail Lake was stocked with over 1100 trout, allowing the youth to test their fishing skills. The registered names were also randomly drawn, allowing those drawn the opportunity to choose from the many prizes available.
