Push For Funding Students, Not Districts, At State Level

A renewed push for a formula that would fund public schools per student rather than maintaining prior levels of state money is circulating in Harrisburg.
A recent release by the Commonwealth Foundation shows a huge disparity in funding between growing and shrinking school districts, with Cameron County topping the list for fastest decline, and near the top for state funding received per student.
