Reading Brightens The Day For Community Nurses Client

 

 

Jeanette Stump had a great idea that made a real difference for Joann Gnan of Ridgway, a client she helps care for. Jeanette is a Personal Care Aide for Community Nurses Home Support Services. It all started when a friend gave Jeanette a book called ‘Front Porch Tales’, written by Kersey author, Marilyn Secco.

After reading the first short story Jeanette immediately thought of her client. She knew Joann could relate to the story about a son and his animals and thought she might enjoy being read to. As it turned out, it started a whole new adventure for the two of them.
