Seneca Resources Supports CCOYA Honey Bee Education Efforts

Seneca Resources, the exploration and production segment of National Fuel Gas Company, has donated $750.00 to Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities (CCOYA) to support their ongoing efforts in Honeybee education to our area youth.

It is estimated that 1/3 of our food source depends greatly on insect pollination and honeybees account for 80% of this. Area bee keeper Joel Caldwell initially set up a honeybee apiary at the Andrews Farm in 2013 before moving his hives to another location that was more convenient for him to care for.
