Shutdown Ends, Debt Ceiling Debate Haulted – For Now

Congress has ended the shutdown; The Debt Ceiling Crisis has been averted. But, it is likely none of that will last very long.

A deal struck in the eleventh hour to extend the current budget through January 15, just after the end of the holiday shopping season, and the nation’s borrowing abilities until February 7.

It is hoped that, in time, Congress will be able to develop a debt relief strategy in an attempt to improve the financial situation at hand.

From debt counseling to debt management, and even debt consolidation, debts can often seem overwhelming. However, it is important to remember that solutions are out there.

Consequently, if you are experiencing financial hardship, it is in your best interest to seek help from a finance and debt expert sooner rather than later so that you can avoid spiraling into more debts further down the line.
