Third Street Playground Receives $80,000 Mee Grant For Further Renovations
A generous grant from the George A. and Margaret Mee Foundation will be used to improve an Emporium playground.
The Third Street Playground, which has fallen into disrepair in recent years, will have an additional $80,656.40 to continue with renovations to the park. New equipment will be purchased, along with repairs and lighting to make the park a safer place for children to play.
