Transportation Bill Signed By Governor

Both the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and Senate voted last week to approve the state’s long-awaited Transportation Bill that provides funding for roads, bridges and public transportation.

The Transportation Bill passed the Senate with a vote of 43-7, and the House by a vote of 113-85. Corbett signed the bill into law on Monday morning at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall along Route 322 in Spring Mills, Centre County, one of the areas where transportation funding is most needed to repair aging infrastructure.
