Volunteers Needed For Third St. Playground
As most of you may know, Cameron County Recreation received a large grant from the George A. and Margaret Mee Charitable Foundation to rebuild the Third Street Playground. The tear down has begun and the rebuilding is still in the beginning stages.
Once the fencing and electrical are complete lots of hands will be needed to help with putting together and installing equipment, filling in the area with wood chip, hanging new swings, etc. We have two students helping for their senior project but we will need many more.
