Woodland Celebrates Dr. Seuss’s Birthday With Mooing Contest

Woodland Elementary celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday on Monday, March 3rd. This was an event for the entire student body. Even those little ones with food allergies had something as well. It was a huge success!

SSR (sustained silent reading) for Read Across America was held, which was also for the entire building. Mr. Newcomer announced at 8:30 that the entire school would be participating in SSR for 15 minutes. It was great to see all the reading going on in the building.
