Blighted Properties Determined Unsafe

    Members of the Emporium Borough Council discussed ongoing ordinance violation issues at Monday night’s regular meeting. Four properties that have received numerous resident complaints and are considered blighted were referred to the Code Enforcement Officer, Russ Braun, who is employed by townships in Elk County but works with the borough under contract.

Little League Seats New Board of Trustees

    The Cameron County Little League held their first meeting for 2015. New Board of Trustees are Sandy Bresslin, Carl Brown, Staci Brown, Steve Brown, Ron Bure, Glen Fiebig, Ralph McKimm Jr. and Beth Newhouse. The Board is in the process of working on some changes for 2015.

School Play Feb. 14

    CCHS Drama Club will present George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s “You Can’t Take It With You” on Friday, Feb. 13th and Saturday, Feb. 14th at 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 students.

Collaborative Board Meets

      Tina Solak welcomed everyone at the Collaborative Board meeting and had everyone introduce themselves.  Rob Lion approved the November minutes and Sheri Harrier seconded.
